an impressive building and the main
attractions were on the walls but I
actually preferred what I saw on the
floor...

wow… suddenly a huge new building. that was quick.

old and the new. typifies this city and perhaps
appropriate for the occasion as well?

looking up is good for you. it's
scientifically proven. looking down can
be a wonderful thing too.

i often find surfaces which is in between renovation
fascinating. unintentional 'beauty' is sometimes more
pleasing than intentional ones...

i like looking up when i am in this city, seeing things i
would have missed had i not looked up.

my highlight of this recently
constructed building by the sea.

i am often drawn to stairs as i was at this
historic location, continuing to be used to
provide light to the humanity.

a more beautiful expression of what went on in this
city and the country. mind you, it was the 'visitors'
who perpetrated the actions which went down in
history.

inside this stylish building, one of many
on this busy street, it was easy to
progress up the stairs to various shops
but coming back down to exit was not
so easy, making me wonder if it was a
deliberate ploy.

this was what i saw as i entered the building. i knew
the space was going to be spectacularly good there and
then.

there was a nostalgic feel to this building due to its
previous use. i was particularly struck by this sink
which had a sculptural quality.

it is not the most beautiful building looking at it from
outside but inside, there are some really good looking
areas like this one which i had not visited before.

it snowed unusually heavily in recent weeks. it was
nice to be out in the sun and to see some signs of
spring.

i always enjoyed visiting this building, party cos the
view is so nice. but on this visit, i feel that i managed
to capture what i like about the place.

waiting for the big event with a sense of
intrepidation, expectation and hope,
making the cold weather durable.

a beautiful day for madame soleil. people came and
scattered away back to their individual lives reminding
me that with passing of time, our relationships change
too.

a beautiful day but something very dark 

was taking place near this tree.
